My husband and I did the 2 day intensive back in September and it was great. We really liked the dynamic of having both male (Richard) and female (Julie) therapists. At the end we really wished we had 1 more day.
Fast forward 5 months and we wished there was a follow with both again. Each therapist brings a unique perspective. I asked about doing such a thing and it doesn’t exist. They said it would be a repeat of exercises we’ve already done. we just wanted to be able to pick up where we left off. At this time we continue to see one therapist.

I agree with Christopher and wished I had read his review earlier, they are only in it for the money! The worst business experience of my life. In mid 2020, during the pandemic, my partner and I scheduled an appointment to work on our relationship. To say $350 is exorbitant is an understand as we all know there are much more affordable options available. But I didn’t want money to be a guiding factor so we moved forward. During the appointment I could tell by the questions being asked that Richard had not reviewed any of the pre-work papers we were asked to fill out. He actually held them in his hand and was reading them during the session. Totally unprepared.

Rather than seek other options, my partner and I decided to book a 1 day Intensive package that included 1 full day and (6) 90-minute follow up sessions. And since we had already booked a 90 minute session, I know they charge $350 for each. I called on a Monday and was told Friday was available (4 days notice) so we booked the day. Shortly thereafter I received a phone call saying Richard wasn’t actually available on Friday (he had planned to take the day off but his assistant didn’t know this) so we had to move it out another week. So we had to be a bit flexible after their scheduling snafu.

Unfortunately, due to some unforeseen circumstances, we had to cancel the 1 day package after paying in full. So they waive their cancellation policy in front of my face as the reason for keeping ALL of my money. Says they have interrupted business operations and they could have booked another client. Keep in mind I think he takes most Friday’s off. Being the reasonable person that I am, I agree that I should pay some money for disrupting their day with a last minute cancellation. But what about the 6 follow-up sessions? They were never booked and therefore the cancellation policy doesn’t apply. Do these (6) 90 minute sessions have value? YES, $350 each! And was business ops interrupted by canceling these sessions, no, not at all.

But this group of unscrupulous, unprofessional business fools, don’t want to return 1 dime. They are ONLY in it for the money. I would never recommend this firm. You can find more compassionate, more professional help and a more reasonable price, anywhere. NEVER NEVER NEVER. You’ve been warned.

I would never recommend this provider. They are only in the space to make a buck. My fiancé was seeing a therapist regularly here for a few months. The therapist had incorrectly scheduled her a few times and she accommodated by offering to FaceTime so that the therapist could still fill that slot.

Before one session, my fiancé was called in to work and tried to cancel with ample notice. The therapist told her via text that she would credit the charge for their next session. She then attended the next session and the therapist refused to credit the previous charge – even after she showed her the text thread where the therapist offered to do that!

This establishment is just about making money and doesn’t care for their clients more than making sure the check clears.

It’s amazing that they would halt valuable work and lose a relationship (which could have potentially changed her life) over a $170 charge. By the way, a therapist with those lack of credentials charging $170 per session is egregious. I believe this was a case of them charging based on our ability to pay.

It takes a special person to be a great therapist and this group clearly doesn’t have those qualities. There are much more affordable options in the community that are doing this work because they are passionate about helping people heal. I recommend you find one of those.

Update: the owner reached out and tried to rectify the situation. He was apologetic and helpful. I have upgraded my review to 3 stars given his great customer service.

It was so great as a colleague to be able to refer a couple in need to Karin and Richard for a 3 day couples intensive.

Richard and Karin were amazing, collaborative and communicative throughout the process.

Richard assured to give me a summary, so I know what occurred during the intensive to continue the quality of care with the couple post intensive.

I have referred other couples to Richard and Karin’s intensives and will continue to do so!

I would highly recommend their work!

I have been seeing Richard Loebl for over a year now and am so thankful to have found him.

He has worked with me through many problems and made me feel very comfortable doing so.

He has an enact ability to help make sense of past problems and traumatic events so I could healthfully move forward with a more clear understanding and acceptance.

I feel I have come a long way and accomplished so much while seeing him. He has helped me think through many major decisions and life obstacles and I can honestly say that I am so happy I had Richard in my corner!

He has an in-depth understanding of how the mind works and does a great job listening and explaining things.

Some of his qualities include, smart, intellectual, engaging, friendly, kind, problem solving, focused, dedicated, loyal, on time, and personable.

Side note: He has a nice big office with big glass windows that let in nice lighting.
