The hotel is extremely poorly maintained. It’s not Renaissance we expect to see and it should not be a part of Marriott brand. Our bed had blood and oil stains, stained towels, poorly maintained rooms and hallways. Breakfast area and options feel like we are in Holiday Inn vs an upscale hotel. Do not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you don’t have any other options nearby. Marriott across the street is very modern, clean and has amazing amenities and food options, so recommend staying there instead.

The Renaissance was a very clean and comfortable stay for us. The rooms were big and very clean, particularly in reference to COVID-19 precautions. Service was ok, and we had a random desk clerk knock on our door while we were sleeping. Not sure why he was there but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return.

Disappointing experience. My husband and I were looking forward for a relaxing few night getaway but ended up checking out a day and a half early due to poor service and overall dissatisfaction. We called numerous times for replacement towels and shampoo as these things were not being regularly replenished due to covid. After waiting for housekeeping or the front desk to answer the phone we were told they would be right up. Almost two hours later, still nothing. Ran down to the pool and no surprise there was only one towel left down there. The safe in our room also did not work. We requested twice for someone to replace the battery and this never happened. When speaking to the girl at the front desk voicing our poor stay and desire to check out early there was little to no attempt or compensation to change our stay into a more positive experience for our remaining night. Overall very disappointing. Will not be back.

In disrepair. Front lobby is nice but rooms are dated and small. Had toilet break 3 times in 2 days. Hot tub did not work. Had to call people to skim the pool. Elevators and hallways extremely worn out. No room upgrades available for loyalty members. Good location near good restaurants like Farmers Table.

I have spent more than 2000 nights in hotels, mostly Marriott properties. The company usually provides excellent customer service. This property has gone well beyond the normal good service that I have experienced.
The General Manager, Brent Richardson has gone out of his way to make our stay an outstanding experience.
I highly recommend this property!!
