Joy changed our marriage. Beyond a reason of doubt. My husband and I are officially 1 year post-therapy and our marriage has never been so good after 17 years! Joy uses emotional-based therapy, which helped us to get to the true root of some unresolved problems. You have to be ready for the self-reflection though. There is nothing easy about the process.

What a DISASTER of a professional. I went to Joy as it was provided by my insurance for 3 free sessions. We had an automated 4th session scheduled, which I did not take for granted that I will go. Instead of calling to see whether I will continue coming to the office, and to check how I was doing (the minimum required empathy in a difficult moment expected from such professional) she only contacted to tell me that I owed a balance for not showing up. Just after I told her she should worry more about the state of her clients instead of directly claiming debts, she then said this was going to be her next question. Quite ridiculous. But this is not what drove me to write this review. On top of this, my insurance company asked her for the records of the visits. After months of not replying, I contacted her personally on text asking her to please send the records. Over the phone, she agreed to do so. But then the insurance company called me saying that she denied to send the records (notes, visits, etc) since there was an owed balance. She probably never even took notes out of the visits. Very unprofessional and focused on profit over client. Created a debt over a non-agreed scheduled 4th visit and used it as an excuse not to take the labor of sending records. That’s not professional. Highly UNRECOMMENDED!!

I absolutely love Joy! She is truly a skilled, super down to earth, and very grounded therapist. We are grateful to have her as a valued team member at our Revolutionary Group Practice in Fort Lauderdale. We love you Joy!
