Love the place. Spacious and well maintained. Nice walking trails.
People in charge and the maintenance crew provide an EXCELLENT service.
I call the playground the ” The Taj Mahal of playgrounds “. If your kiddos are into science, that’s the place to take them.
Plenty pavilions. Plenty space. Quiet oasis in the middle of hustle and bustle.

I liked this place because the parking spots were twice the width of my compact car. I go here solely to luxuriate in the parking spot. I’m thinking of seeing how much they’ll rent a parking space to me for and then I’ll build a tiny house on it and live there forever. You know where to find me!

I love Sugar Sand park, it has changed a ton since I was young. From a wooden pirate themed playground with some cool science flared into it. To a more modern treasure trove of excitement and learning. From the misting area to beat the heat, to the elaborate construct ranging three stories high that houses different area like a train cabin, boat, bridge to a ship, and littered with facts about our wonderful planet. It is a fun filled adventure for kids and parents alike. Do make it a point to visit this park, you won’t regret it.
