I met with the intake person to do an assessment, gave urine (I thought to see if I qualified) and sat with the group leader for about 20 minutes and the next day texted the group leader and spoke with intake that I would not be participating in their program.
I received a bill for $600. Absolutely ridiculous.
ONE reason I chose not to participate is that while I was meeting with the intake person, the marketing person divulged personal (and inaccurate) information to someone that I had not given a release of information. When I called the next day to express concern about this I was told, “You weren’t a client then so HIPAA wasn’t violated.”
Another reason I chose not to participate is they did not have a group of clients for evening meetings or anyone qualified to run them.
Finally, at no point did they advise I was out of network with my insurance, reassuring me repeatedly that it would be covered.
$600 bill to pee in a cup and help them set up rules for a group that still has not formed. Despicable.

I am probably the most skeptical person when it comes to treatment centers. I don’t think there is anything negative I can say about this place. The therapy is awesome so far, and I get a lot of one-on-one here which is exactly what I need. Everyone who works here from the techs all the way to the top are the nicest and most caring people, everyone here genuinely wants to help you in whatever way they can with your recovery and help you get whatever you need individually to make you more successful. I have been given every opportunity here for all around success and I can honestly say I love it here. There is a great balance between work and fun which I think is important for success because too much of either one can really throw off your progress in treatment. I don’t know if there is any way I could possibly repay this place and its employees for all they have done for me, and I have told them that, and all they replied was, “JUST STAY CLEAN!” I honestly think I have a great foundation to build upon for that to happen, and its all thanks to them.

Bottom line…. I owe TPA my life. I would not be in the healthy head space and have the optimistic attitude I have today if it was not for TPA and their amazing staff. The therapist and counseling I received during my stay is hands down the best I have ever experienced. Even the techs on site are the best people they could have chosen. Everything about this treatment is efficient and from the heart. They are here to help you begin healing and transition into the next step that is best for YOUR recovery and not their own agenda. Their only agenda is to make sure you are happy, comfortable and receiving the help that you need. I honestly can not say enough facts about them. Even the very small community of clients were amazing people to spend time with, positive vibes and care through and through. I am more than thankful to have spent my time here. Also, the weekends are a blast. They find great activities to fill our days with and take us to the beach for a couple hours… Could not ask for more.

TPA provided me with a wonderful inpatient environment to learn how to lead a sober life. The weekends were awesome and allowed me to experience sober fun. Everyone from the therapists to the techs went overboard in making sure I had a wonderful and supportive experience..

after doing some research everything points back to this place as being the most professional with the best results. They use many of the core methods of treating a person with a addiction as well as implementing some new and cutting edge ones that all the experts in the field are hotly discussing. the residences for treatment is a place where I wouldn’t mind living much less staying for a brief period during treatment. I can understand why this place was so spoken of so highly for when I compared to other treatment centers it had a clear advantage over all the others
