Veranda Club

Staff is outstanding starting at the top with Tom, Executive Director and Iris, head of nursing. The rest of the staff are caring and attentive to my aunt’s needs.

I used to work at the veranda club it was decent and functioned kinda well when i started back in 2017. However, when the first Executive Director I worked with left, it was all downhill from there and corporate would send people in but nothing would change. The Veranda Club is constantly having issues, from the elevator not being reliable, to housekeeping not doing their jobs, to the aides not answering the residents when they press their pendents when they need help in assisted living, to workers and even some residents being rude to the residents, and constantly being understaffed and not willing to pay for more help. There are some people that work at the Veranda who actually care about the wellbeing and happiness of the residents but they are few and far between. I was with them for about three years and it came to the point where I could not stand to be a part of it anymore.

I moved my Mother hear from Baltimore. The staff, especially Caesar were so welcoming we needed to look no further. I highly recommend this facility. The food is excellent and the people are super friendly!

I am so happy living at the Veranda Club. The staff is fantastic, especially Edwin in Activities, Maria in Housekeeping and Latasha in Dietary. I am extremely happy with the attention and service I receive. This is a wonderful community and I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new home. This is my home and I absolutely love it!

I am very pleased with the care and attention my father is receiving. I have peace of mind knowing he’s safe and looked after.
