Windwood Guard House

It was a painful process to get through, guard tried to listen to message that authorized entry probably 50 times and could not get it, I left him trying and returned 1/2 hour later.

I am a guest here & usually get it very easy and fast. This particular evening, the line was so long that it backed up onto 4th Ave. causing cars to either not be able to get in line or get cut off by cars coming from the opposite direction. It was absolutely ridiculous! I waited over 20min just to get to the gatehouse. In my opinion, the other entrance should be guest accessible (bc it nvr has been), better staffing or possibly have a traffic light there that can maybe help the flow of traffic!

I work for a local delivery company, I had an order in this neighborhood but the guard at the gate would not let me through even with valid ID and the customer had called me into the gate. Still he would not let me through. He was very rude and had me wait out front for an elderly woman to drive up to the gate to receive her order. I have never had an issue like this during my 5 years on this job. Absolutely ridiculous and should look into who they hire because this old man had no respect for me trying to do my job or for the individual who lives inside the community he’s “guarding” by making her travel to the front for no reason. I am appalled and management needs to do something.

Sometimes the automated phone system doesn’t work and you’ll be refused entry.

This is the only entrance open 24/7, with security, should be the entrance for guests and delivery
